MEGA REHYDRATION PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION
Treatment of mild to moderate dehydration:
50 - 100ml/kg body mass over the first 6 hours followed by maintenance therapy. If further fluid loss continues for 12 hours, and for severe dehydration, consult your healthcare professional immediately.
Maintenance of adequate hydration:
Replacement after each diarrhea:
Infants up to 1 year: 100 - 200ml
Children: 1 - 5 years: 200ml
Older children and adults: enough to replace the fluid lost and quench thirst.
In patients unable to take usual feeds/meals:
Age 0 - 1 year: 120ml/kg per day.
Age 1 - 2 years: 100ml/kg per day.
Age 2 - 4 years:85 ml/kg per day.
Age 4 - 10 years: 70 ml/kg per day.
Age over 10 years and adults: 2 - 3 litres per day.

Instructions for use:
Dissolve the content of one 5 g sachet or one scoop in 250 ml of freshly boiled and cooled water and take as needed. The solution must be freshly prepared every day. Discard unused solution after 24 hours.
Ingredients:
Per scoop / 5-gram sachet: Tri-sodium citrate 730 mg, Potassium chloride 380 mg, Sodium chloride 440 mg, Dextrose 1520 mg
Other Ingredients:
Sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, colourant, flavourant, and non-nutritive sweetener sucralose 25 mg per scoop/5g sachet
Special Precautions:
Not for use in diabetics and people on a low sodium diet. Consult your healthcare provider if on chronic medication.
Side Effects:
Overuse may cause glucose intolerance to occur in some patients with diarrhea.
