    • Therapeutic Indications
      • The compounds in ASHWANOSTRESS have been shown to:
        • Reduce anxiety and nervous tension
        • Support restful sleep
        • Sharpen focus and improve memory
    • Posology and method of administration
      • Adults: Take one capsule daily
      • Elderly populations: No studies  have been performed in elderly populations, but no dose adjustment is expected to be required.
      • Paediatric populations: The use in children under 12 years of age has not been established due to lack of adequate data.
    • Contraindications:
      • Do not take ASHWANOSTRESS if you are allergic to any of the other ingredients.
      • If the symptoms persist longer than 2 weeks during the use of the medicinal product, a doctor or a qualified health care practitioner should be consulted.
      • If the symptions worsen during the use of the medicinal product, a doctor or a qualified health care practitioner should be consulted.

        • The use of ASHWANOSTRESS during pregnancy and lactaction is not recommended.
      • Undesirable effects:
        • Common side effects are mild and include stomach upset, loose stools, nausea, and drowsiness.
      • Overdose:
        • Taking too much ASHWANOSTRESS may cause side effects such as nausea, indigestion, bloating, or diarrhoea. Taking high doses of ashwagandha has been associated with symptoms such as jaundice, pruritus, nausea, lethargy, abdominal discomfort, and hyperbilirubinemia due to liver injury.
  • Pharmacological properties:
    • Ashwagandha: It is one of the most important herbs of India's traditional Ayurveda medicine. The biologically active chemical constituents of Withania somnifera include alkaloids (isopelletierine, anaferine, cuseohygrine, anahygrine, etc), steroidal lactones(withanolides, withaferins) and saponins. Sitoindosides and acylsterylglucosides in Ashwaganda are antistress agents.

      Modern studies have shown that these components do give the herbs properties which include relieving phyiscal stress as well as improved cognitive abilities in children with memory deficit and old age. It has anxiolytic effects and improves energy levels and mitochondrial health.
    • Passionflower: Traditional herbal medicinal product for relief of mild symptoms of mental stress and to aid sleep.
    • Valerian: Herbal medicinal product for the relief of mild nervous tension and sleep disorders.
    • Black Pepper: Stimulates appetite. Contains antioxidants to relieve oxidative stress.
    • Pyridoxine: Contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system. Contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. A factor in the maintenance of good health.
